The role of Regional VP Sales is to lead a senior sales team and participate with them as needed on strategic deals for Kenshoo’s industry-leading platform which automates and optimizes advertising across Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, and Pinterest. You must be a natural at coaching and mentoring, operations and process focused, and able to handle a more specialized technical sale in the world of digital advertising. You also need to be intelligent, honest, inspirational, energetic, willing to learn, and highly motivated to succeed. The role reports to the MD of North America and is comprised of five key requirements: 

  • Drive consistent monthly net-new bookings from new customer logos by signing customers to the Kenshoo platform. In reality, this makes up 90% of the success criteria of the job.
  • Attract (as needed), motivate (always), and retain the members of a team of salespeople nationwide in generating pipeline, pitching, and closing business. This is 5% of the other 10% of the success criteria.
  • Provide leadership and expertise to the broader company regarding the needs and requirements of the in-house Advertiser and the Independent Agency. 
  • Execute a continuous test-and-improve methodology to ensure that our approach to the market, our tools and techniques, and our people are in tune with the current needs of the buyers.
  • Partner with the Market Development team and the Marketing team to optimize the inbound lead flow and manage the territory assignments of both targeted accounts and inbound opportunities.


Deliverables on which you'll be measured:

  • Deep performance marketing knowledge and experience, with significant expertise within at least one of Kenshoo's key agendas required (Search, Social, Ecomm, Apps) .
  • Consistent, high-quality bookings growth that meets or exceed quota.
  • An expert, domain-knowledgeable sales team that impresses the prospect and the company with its grasp on the details of performance digital marketing across Search, Social, and E-commerce.
  • Management proficiency: how smoothly does it run, how consistent are the results, and how harmonious with the company is the team.
  • Above and beyond: what are you bringing to make us better as a company, and as people, beyond the numbers.

Characteristics, skills, and experience to be successful in this role: 

  • 5+ years of sales management 
  • 5+ years of direct marketing expertise across traditional and digital, either in the industry or selling to it
  • Agency or in-house brand marketing experience a bonus
  • Have the years of know-how and confidence to tell stories in numbers and data to world-class economists and financial engineers – and love a good challenge!
  • Inspirational leader who can work with Executive team and throughout organization
  • Have a "glass half full" attitude and approach to unifying and growing a positive environment with limited politics
  • Relationship-based management style
  • Understand the value of real-time coaching and feedback
  • Natural tendency to assume positive intent and drive collaborative, open, and transparent teams
