Tokyo, Japan, October 9 – Kenshoo, the global leader in predictive marketing software, has today announced the appointment of Yukihiko Imamura as Managing Director for its Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, as part of its plans to grow market share by increasing its business with local and international digital marketers.

Mr. Imamura will oversee Kenshoo’s business in Asia Pacific and Japan under Ted Krantz, the company’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Over the last 22 years, Yukihiko Imamura has acquired extensive enterprise business experience in Japan, Singapore, and Australia, and overseas, working for Dentsu and Sony.

Established in July 2013, the Tokyo office is considered by Kenshoo to be strategically important because of the strong growth expected from the digital marketing sector in Japan. Mr. Imamura has extensive experience, leadership qualities, and a global perspective. His career has included eight years in senior roles at Dentsu in the region, and fourteen years in senior account executive roles at Sony.

Under Mr. Imamura’s leadership, Kenshoo intends to strengthen its management foundations in APJ by providing industry thought leadership, strengthening customer relations, and expanding its sales team. The company will focus its efforts on supporting digital agencies and key accounts across Japan, China, Southeast Asia, and the Australia New Zealand markets.

“The Asian Pacific markets, in which Kenshoo’s marketing platform is widely used, are key to our future growth,” said Mr. Krantz. “We already have significant operations in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia and we plan to help digital marketers in those countries fully embrace the power of our proprietary search and social advertising technology.”

“Yukihiko Imamura is the ideal person to be Kenshoo’s leader in APJ region due to his excellent commercial drive and his thorough knowledge of the Asian and Japanese markets. I am confident that he will be active for us as Kenshoo’s key person in this fast-growing region.”
