I began my love affair with the small business community in 2003 when I went door-to-door selling print advertising to restaurants, lawyers and mechanics. Since then, I’ve held various leadership roles in the local interactive space in sales, training, and product marketing and product management.
At my prior company, I helped create, launch, and grow the paid search product line that was sold to small businesses across the globe. Since it was a print publisher, I was also part of a culture shift that brought the digital product suite, and the technology it depended on, to the forefront.
In early 2012, I moved to Kenshoo in order to take on two challenges in the Local space. First, find creative ways to help agencies and media companies utilize technology to more efficiently serve their small business clients at scale. Second, help leading brands define and automate their Local marketing strategy so they can effectively market down to the individual location, franchisee or branch level.
